Anna and Ryans wedding day
Taking place at the Upwaltham Barns in the heart of the South Downs National Park, Anna and Ryan’s wedding was an absolute pleasure to photograph.
Getting ready at The Fox Goes Free
My coverage started at The Fox Goes Free. A traditional hotel set just outside of Chichester, where Anna and her bridesmaids were getting ready.
From there we headed to Upwaltham Barns for the ceremony and the celebrations that followed afterwards.
The wedding at Upwaltham Barns
I’d never worked at Upwaltham Barns before. But I have to say it was a great venue to photograph and the staff was a pleasure to work with.
The picturesque ceremony room was full of natural light. So for a documentary photographer like myself, I didn’t have to worry about disrupting proceedings with my flash going off.
After the ceremony, we took a number portraits around the grounds. I then spent the rest of the day capturing the events as they unfolded.
The evening celebrations
Anna and Ryan also asked me if I could stay later. As they wanted their guests to line up with sparklers towards the end.
Happy to oblige, I also made good use of the opportunity and took a number of photographs of enjoying the music and having a good old dance.
Ultimately, it was a great pleasure to photograph Anna and Ryan’s wedding and a lot of fun. Below is a selection of my favourite images from their day.
Colin is a fantastic photographer with a talent for capturing the intimate moments that you would otherwise forget on your big day.
When we received our photos, Colin hand delivered all of them and went through everything.
After such an amazing day after months of planning its great to have those memories recorded in such a beautiful yet natural way.
We would highly recommend Colin for a wedding or any event and the photos just simply speak for themselves.
Thank you so much for our lovely photos and everything you have done which made the day more memorable.Anna and Ryan
